About Chris Webb
For more than three decades, Chris Webb has dedicated his life to serving and protecting the people of Marion County.
Chris began his law enforcement career with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office in 1993. In 1995, he joined the Kimball Police Department, where he rose through the ranks from patrol officer to sergeant and then captain. His leadership and commitment to excellence have earned him the respect of colleagues across Tennessee.

Today, Chris serves as the department’s General Department Instructor, overseeing all officer training and certifications submitted to the Tennessee POST Commission. He is also the Network Coordinator for the Cumberland Region of the Tennessee Highway Safety Office, working with 27 county sheriff’s offices and 58 police departments to improve highway safety and law enforcement coordination across the region.
Over his 32 years in law enforcement, Chris has pursued extensive professional development – completing training in basic and death investigations, instructor development, supervision, and law enforcement management. He has served on the Board of the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Officers Association, is the Past President of the Fraternal Order of Police, and was honored as Officer of the Year by Marion County’s local VFW. He is also the past master of Olive Branch Lodge #297.
Beyond the badge, Chris is a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He has been married to his high school sweetheart for 34 years, and together they have two daughters, Ashlyn and Autumn, and two grandchildren.
